Redemption...

After almost being shipped off to the Army today at the ripe old age of 7, (see post below) my boy has redeemed himself. Hanging out with his sisters for a while, all was really really quiet so I decided to go check on everyone. K.Z. and C'sa were creating a masterpiece.
I was simply elated at the creativity...





Ten points if you can tell me what it is. Twenty if you can tell what it is made from (Susie, you are automatically disqualified, since the medium for the piece is from your house).

My guess is a duck and they are math manipulatives (used them today!)

I'm going with the bird and Cuisinare Rods/math manipulatives!!! We use Math U See Manipulatives with Saxon Math! Go figure! Those suckers are great for restoring order in any level of living with kids! Do your singles measure 1 gram if flipped over and filled with water? So fun!

Yep some sort of duck or bird it looks like to me too. How creative! We just started MUS and are LOVING it!
