This year will mark 21 years of friendship with my high school partner in crime, Angela. I was wandering around YouTube and ran across this video. We were obsessed with "The Monkees" in Junior High (even though they were in their 40's at the time and doing their 20 year reunion tour) and we watched the sitcom reruns constantly.
So Angela, here is to 21 years of insanity (she thought this song was stupid, but it cracked me up)! Much love to you and here is to the next 20 years!

Hey! Hey! We're the Monkees!! Davey was Hotter than Shawn Cassidy by a long shot. I have to agree with your friend the song stinks.
That's too funny! I was in high school when the Monkees made a comeback. My best friend then LOVED them. (I thought they were cheesy...though I did love them in 5th grade...LOL!!) And she said she would love them FOREVER. I made her sign a slip of paper saying that. I wonder if I have it somewhere. I could send it to her in the mail. LOL!! Thanks for the laugh!
